The one thing I am not sure about is when I play the file in my 1080p theater (Odroid C2 running Kodi) is the "downscaled" image equivalent to what it would have been if it was a rip from the regular BD for the movie. Yesterday, I got the 4k BD for John Wick 2 and ripped it 1-1.came out at around 70gb. I recently got a 4k/HDR tv for my bedroom so now I am thinking about getting 4k discs going forward so I can watch them in 4k in the bedroom if I want.
